Microphthalmia, Anophthalmia and Artificial Eye

Microphthalmia is the condition in which the one or both eyes are relatively abnormal in size like under developed but the eye containt are present.the treatment is consider to expand the soft tissue by serial socket expanders and canthus expanders and the shap of the expanders can be normal, dumble shape and the round ball type.

On the other hand anophthalmia is the condition in which the eye is missing or the ocular tissues are absent it can be uni ocular or binocular. Treatment is consider to expand the soft tissue by serial socket expanders and canthus expanders.
